About
A Bahamian computer scientist building practical, research-backed technology.
I'm originally from The Bahamas and currently a junior at the University of South Dakota, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a concentration in Artificial Intelligence and a minor in Sociology.
My work sits at the overlap of a few things I care about: understanding how machine-learning systems actually work under the hood, building software and websites that solve real problems for real people, and making dense material easier to learn — whether that's a neural network's training pipeline or a first-year student's study habits.
That last thread is also why I write. The Sociology minor shapes how I think about the human side of technology — the habits, incentives, and environments that determine whether a tool or a study system actually gets used — and it's part of what led me to start the College Success Series alongside my technical coursework and research.
I'm still a student building my experience, and I try to be upfront about that: the projects on this site are portfolio work, not client engagements, and the research is presented exactly as far as it's actually progressed.
